Hello, April

Ahhhh, April. Spring is here! With a high of 90 degrees today, it doesn't feel like Spring...and my family in Maine, getting a snowstorm today, is probably thinking the same thing!

April is Autism Awareness Month, something near and dear to my heart. My Bugaboo (hard to believe he is almost 9!), is a daily blessing, amazing me with his progress. I signed him up for dramautism classes for the month, and looking forward to those. Always good to interact with others! We are also going to try Challenger Little League this year. I think Mama is more nervous than he is!

I have a few projects in the works, and more planned that I haven't started yet, and am excited to share them with you! More of my Mom's recipes, always yummy. My friend Belva, over at Mainely Mugups, posted a recipe today for Oatmeal Molasses Dishpan Cookies. This recipe makes a BUNCH. They freeze well, or would be great for a crowd. I think I have a large enough bowl (I hope!), and can't wait to try them.

This weekend, I am making some burp cloths and pacifier clips for a friend that is due the end of this month. I will be posting those tutorials soon.
